Artist narrative
The story behind every line
Before the work, there's the gesture. Before the gesture, the question. This is the path that shaped it.
Artist narrative
I create because I see something that doesn't yet exist, and I cannot leave it invisible. Every work is a promise kept to an idea.
The story behind every line
Origins
I grew up believing that drawing was a way of listening. Before words, I had hands; before hands, I had vision. My training isn't a list of schools — it's the time I spent watching light change a white wall.
The craft
Craft is the discipline of failing well. Every day in the studio is a negotiation between intuition and matter. No work comes out clean on the first attempt — and this is the honest part of the work.
The voice
My voice is not a stylistic signature: it's the sum of decisions I made when no one was watching. It's the reason certain works enter a room and change it.
The horizon
I don't work to conclude. I work to open the next question. Every work is a threshold, not an answer.
Art is not what you see, but what you make others see.
Now that you know the path, it's time to walk it alongside the work.
